What did you want to be when you grew up? I was nine-years-old when I decided I wanted to be an author. I've been chasing the dream ever since. Along the way, I learned what others already knew. There's rarely a straight path to realizing your dreams. The trail often has cutbacks, loops, and side spurs, but if you keep putting one foot in front of the other,  you get there.

 After more than 30 years in Corporate America, I was lucky enough (Thanks, John!) to retire early and split my time between traveling and chasing my childhood dream of  becoming a writer of fiction. I'm finally here, but more importantly, so are you! What a privilege it is to write something that others want to read.  The nine-year-old in me is joyfully jumping up and down while the woman I am today is quietly grateful.
